'Tom Clancy's The Division' News: Dates Of 'Open Beta' Leaked

The upcoming online role-playing game "Tom Clancy's The Division" has just wrapped up its closed beta, which was available until February 2, according to a report in Eurogamer. The game however is reportedly planning another "beta" test and if reports are true, this may happen from February 16 to 21.

According to Eurogamer, the Facebook page of Xbox Italy has inadvertently revealed that the game is indeed doing another "Open Beta" from February 16 to 21, as shown in the site's calendar of activities that Xbox Live members can look forward to.

Based on the previous release timeline, the report assumes that Xbox One gamers will get exclusive access to the beta on February 16, likely to last for 24 hours, which also means that other platforms such as PS4 and PC may get access a day after, on February 17.

According to the report, Ubisoft will bring their servers back online on February 16 and will keep them open until February 21. The other aspect about this second beta test it that it's reportedly a public one, with Microsoft calling it an "open beta." In another report in Gotta Be Mobile, this time around, anyone may be able to try the game, which is unlike the closed beta that was limited to those who pre-ordered the game. At the very least, those who want to participate in the upcoming beta may need to be subscribed to the online gaming services of their respective gaming platforms.

No other details were provided about the open beta such as confirmation about exclusive access and how to participate. It is also unclear if Ubisoft plans to use the same content of this weekend's beta test or have testers try out new content.  According to the report, the previous beta test did not feature any story-related content and character creation was also limited. This may be worth having testers try before the game is publicly released on March 8.
