'Tom Clancy's The Division' News: Second Global Event Currently Live, Special Rewards up for Grabs

Current Global Event will remain live until Oct. 10

The Global Event feature was added to "Tom Clancy's The Division" not too long ago, and one has even been completed already. Now, players can take part in the second Global Event known as "Assault."

While the new Global Event is going on, players should be able to observe some dramatic changes during gameplay.

Notably, players can expect to find that enemies have become vulnerable. That is not the only advantage, however, as players may now be able to inflict even greater damage upon their enemies when fighting in close range.

The currently live Global Event does a few other things too.

With the Activity Modifier in effect, it is not just the players who will be able to deal more damage. Enemies will be capable of dishing out more punishment with it and they can do so while fighting from long range.

There is also a Group Modifier included in "Assault," and this emphasizes the importance of cooperation. If the Group Modifier is activated, players can deal more damage when they are close to other Agents. It also hikes up how much damage enemies can inflict if players are separated.

"The Division" players who participate in "Assault" will be able to claim some nice rewards, including the Reclaimer, Sentry's Call and Striker Classified Gear Sets.

Some facemasks are also being offered to players who participate in the Global Event and they look like they will work nicely for Halloween.

Players will have until Oct. 10 to take part in "Assault" and do their best to obtain the rewards.

Developers have also teased that there will be a third Global Event that will go live in the near future, though additional details about it have yet to be provided.

More news about "Tom Clancy's The Division" should be made available soon.
