NBA star Tony Parker was among several people who were injured in a New York nightclub brawl involving Chris Brown and Drake on Wednesday night.

The San Antonio Spurs Point guard was inside club W.i.P in Soho when a fight broke out which led to Parker suffering an eye injury, TMZ.com.

"I was there with a bunch of friends when a fight broke out. They started to throw bottles about. I got it all," Parker told TMZ.

The 30-year-old had glass in his eye and although there was concern whether the injury might prevent him in competing in the Olympics, Parker assured fans that he will be fine after at least one week.

"The cornea has been touched. I can't do anything for seven days. But I was lucky. The injury won't prevent me from competing the Olympics in any way," Parker said.

It is unclear what prompted the violent confrontation between both Brown and Drake's entourages but both singers have denied any wrongdoing.

Brown, 23, suffered a gash to his chin and posted a graphic photo on Twitter the following day which revealed his painful injury.

Rihanna, who some critics suspect may have been the causes of the cause of the fight, reportedly ran to Brown's side the following day and tended to his wound.

"Chris and Rihanna hung out at Jay-Z's 40/40 Club all night and it was clear that she loved the attention he was giving her," a insider told RadarOnline.com.

"Those two have a thing for each other that will never die, no matter what, and they're on their way to really being back together. Chris just adores her. And she tended to him, making sure the gash on his chin from the fight was okay," the source added.

Drake reportedly sent Brown a note claiming that he has been sleeping with Rihanna, who is supposedly still romantically involved with Brown, which is allegedly what triggered the brawl.

Brown's personal body guard known only as "Pat," and a 24-year-old Australian tourist known as "Hollie. C," were also identified as victims seriously injured in the fight.

Both suffered serious blows to the head after being hit with flying bottles and were immediately taken to hospital for treatment.
