In Game 4 of the division series between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Texas Rangers, expect a war as one team tries to extend the match-up while the other attempts to complete an upset.

The match is in Global Life Park and will be on October 12, 2015 at 4:07 PM ET.

Toronto headed into the series as heavy favourites after an impressive regular season but immediately found themselves down in the series and facing elimination.

In Game 1, the Rangers started quickly by going up 2-0 after scores from Rougned Odor and Delino DeShields in the top of the third inning.

Toronto got to cut the lead in half after Ben Revere scored after Edwin Encarnacion singled on an infield base hit.

The Rangers still had the momentum and extended the lead to 4-1 after Robinson Chirinos hit a 392-foot home run that also allowed Odor to score his second of the game.

In the fifth inning, the Blue Jays began to mount their comeback, with catcher Russell Martin scoring after Kevin Pillar doubled.

The following inning, a home run from Jose Bautista made it a 4-3 game after crushing the ball 435 feet in left center.

However, Odor kept his impressive form as he hit a home run deep to right field to put the Rangers up 5-3 in what would eventually be the final score.

After winning the first game, the Rangers continued their scoring streak in Game 2 as they scored two runs in the opening inning – with DeShields scoring after Shin-soo Choo hit a single.

Choo would eventually score after an error from the Blue Jays' back-stop allowed him to run to home plate with Mitch Moreland at bat.

Toronto had a lifeline after Josh Donaldson hit a 419-foot home run to cut the lead to one.

Odor scored after a sacrifice fly by Hanser Alberto, but the Blue Jays scored twice in the same inning to tie the game at 3-3.

The Blue Jays would eventually lead after Pillar scored after a Revere single.

In the eighth inning, DeShields scored after a single by Mike Napoli to extend the game.

After consecutive innings without a run, the Rangers finished off the game with two runs in the 14th inning to get the 2-0 series lead.

Facing elimination, the Blue Jays bounced back in Game 3 by going up 5-0 with Dioner Navarro, Donaldson, Troy Tulowitzki, Bautista and Encarnacion scoring.

Texas had a consolation run from Elvis Andrus, but it was a win for the Blue Jays and they will look for another one in Game 4.
