The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 will feature at Thursday's MTV Video Music Awards 2012 when a sneak peak will be revealed for millions of eager fans.

Twilight is gearing up for its final installment to be released on Nov. 16, and anticipation will be sure to build further following tonight's exciting preview clip.

Fans of the vampire series have already set their reminders for tonight's award show as Robert Pattinson has been confirmed as making an appearance. He will be on show as well as a number of other cast members from the hugely popular franchise as it prepares to bow out with an epic bang in Breaking Dawn part 2.

The plans for MTV to air an exclusive sneak peek during the event have been revealed on Wednesday, and hundreds of Twilight fans immediately took to social media sites to share the news.

In Part 1 of the movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's popular vampire series Kristen Stewart's character Bella Swan became pregnant and gave birth to a baby. The final installment will pick up where that movie left off and will portray Stewart's character now as a vampire with super-human strength and abilities.

According to People magazine Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward Cullen, in the films will appear on stage at tonight's VMAs. He will take to the stage alongside Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black a werewolf in the movies, to present the 90 second never seen before Breaking Dawn Part 2 footage. However, they will reportedly not be joined by Kristen Stewart, who has been in hiding since news of her affair with "Snow White and the Huntsman" direct Rupert Sanders broke.

The MTV VMA's 2012 airs tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET on MTV, with the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 landing in movie theaters November 16.
