At the convention, Lee and Fenn shared some interesting details about the development of the upcoming instalment which also includes the return of the Double R diner as well as the information that Season 3 will be scored by Angelo Badalamenti.

"I'm so happy we're back on … and 18 episodes now, even. I'm pretty sure that's what happened with the hiccup was that David Said that he saw Twin Peaks, but the universe and the strings go all over the place in the world, it's not just Twin Peaks. I think when he did the nine, he realized he needed nine more to complete it," Fenn said.

About the RR Diner, this is what the actress has to say:

"We're shooting there. 100% … [David's] already come here. They're re-doing the RR diner to look exactly like it did in the show, and then the owners of the diner are going to keep it that way," she explained.

As for the musical scoring, Fenn said that Badalamenti's music "are pivotal, important, essential parts" of the show. This clearly suggests that Badalamenti is involved in the continuation of the show.

The new season of "Twin Peaks" is expected to premiere by "mid-2016" and according to Digital Spy, the "pre production" stage has already started.
