Middleweights Lyoto Machida and Gegard Mousasi will be contesting the main match up, which will be aired live on TV on Fox Sports 1. It is believed that former UFC light heavyweight champion, Machida, could be able to seal a 185-pound title fight by defeating Mousasi tonight. However, things will not be easy.

The last time the "Dragon" fought he knocked out his former training partner Mark Munoz in his middleweight debut at UFC Fight Night 30, having spent most of his fighting career at the light heavyweight division.

Tonight will see Mousasi make his UFC Middleweight debut. However, fans should not underestimate him, as he is a well rounded martial arts expert, and has previously obtained the DREAM middleweight championship to go along with his DREAM and Strikeforce light heavyweight belts.

Tonight's main match up could define the immediate landscape of the UFC Middleweight division, as these are two very high level fighters, who will be looking to take control in the division long-term.

Machida's record is 20-4 overall, and 12-4 in the UFC. Where as Gegard Mousasi's record is 34-3-2 overall and just 1-0 in the UFC.
