'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End' Steelbook Edition Spotted as Nathan Drake Figure Teased

Even though "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" may have been delayed for a second time, fans have no shortage of things to look forward to. In addition to the game's much-awaited release in April 2016, "Uncharted 4" fans are also starting to count the days when they can have their hands on a new Steelbook Edition and the newly teased Nathan Drake figure.

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's" Nathan Drake figure arrives in spring

NECA Toys, a collectibles manufacturer, took to Twitter to tease "Uncharted 4" fans about the new Nathan Drake figurine. Although the company provided a sneak peek at the new figure, it failed to mention a fixed release date.

"A glimpse at Nathan Drake in the works, coming this Spring," NECA Toys said in a post on Twitter while sharing a back view of the new figure.

NECA Toys also created figurines for other game series such as "Resident Evil" and "Bioshock," as well as figures for popular movie franchises "Alien" and "Friday the 13th."

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" Steelbook Edition

A NeoGaf forum user spotted an Amazon Germany product listing for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" Steelbook Edition for Sony's PlayStation 4.

The steelbook included in this brand-new edition seems to be different from the steelbook included in "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" Libertalia Collector's Edition. While the latter's steelbook features the main characters in the game and is more colorful, the "Uncharted 4" Steelbook Edition is more monochromatic and features a map. This map might be the places gamers will explore in the upcoming game, according to GameSpot.

The Steelbook Edition currently has no price or release date and is not listed at Amazon.com's main site as of this writing.

As for the game itself, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" was initially expected to release before the year ends. But the release date has since been moved twice, first to March 18 and then recently to April 26, 2016. The game is expected to be the "Uncharted" series' last title to feature Nathan Drake and will serve to close the adventures of the treasure hunter.
