'Under the Dome' Season 3 Spoilers, Plot News: Hunter Gets Furious With Joe and Norrie for Hindering His Sacrifice

The events are definitely getting more intense as the third season of CBS' hit mystery drama TV series "Under the Dome" continues this week with a brand new episode that will feature some cosmic phenomenon that will affect the mentality of the people in Chester's Mill.

A sneak peek for the episode titled "Ejecta" was posted at TV Guide and it featured a clearly distressed Hunter (Max Ehrich) calling furiously over at Joe (Colin Ford) and Norrie (Mackenzie Lintz). The reason is that the duo stopped him from sacrificing himself which according to him is for the greater good of everyone.

"What the hell is going on?!" Hunter said while wheeling himself out into the bar.

"We don't know but it looks like an apocalypse out there," Norrie answered.

But Hunter rephrased his question, asking them why they brought him into the building.

Joe revealed that Eva (Kylie Bunbury) intended to kill Hunter. The latter retorted that it is something that he expects.

"It's best for the Kinship. I'm using up all of the pain medication. What if others get sick?" the Hunter explained to the youngsters. "Group survival comes first."

But Joe and Norrie aren't sold to the idea. The duo resorted to silence Hunter who is now making a ruckus inside the bar.

Meanwhile, more explosive events are to be expected in this week's segment as what has been suggested in the official synopsis posted right over at The Futon Critic. It reads:

"As the world outside the Dome is rocked by a catastrophic meteor shower, unexpected alliances form inside the barrier. Eva (Kylie Bunbury) tries to indoctrinate Barbie deeper into The Kinship and Big Jim and Julia (Rachelle Lefevre) turn to one another while isolated on Bird Island outside of town. Also, Joe (Colin Ford) is forced to accept help from Sam, the man who killed his sister."

"Under the Dome" Season 3 airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on CBS.
