Upcoming Android Phones 2015: Chinese Startup Developing High-End Smartphone With Dual-Display
There is definitely no shortage of new and upcoming Android phones in China this year. Aside from the perennial favorites like Xiaomi, Lenovo and Huawei, other local brands like ZTE, Meizu and Oppo are also making a statement in the crowded Asian market.
And in a new report by GSM Arena, it seems a new Chinese smartphone maker is making waves with its unique features and impressive specs. Dubbed as the Doogee DG700 Pro, the handset in question has not even been announced, yet there are already leaked specs about it.
In the report, the Doogee-made handset is rumored to boast a 5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, MediaTek's latest Helio X10 chipset, and even an option for either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Other alleged specs include an octa-core CPU running at 2.2GHz, and 4G LTE connectivity.
However, what separates the Doogee DG700 Pro from other Android smartphones is the rumored 6,000mAh battery, which is up to this point, unheard of in a mobile device. Another interesting feature is the alleged secondary display at the back of the smartphone. Unfortunately, there are no additional details about the secondary screen.
The Doogee DG700 Pro will be officially announced in September.
