Upcoming Lenovo Phones 2015: Gigantic 6.8-Inch Phablet Makes an Appearance on Chinese TENAA

Lenovo may be lagging behind its peers in terms of launched devices this year, but it does not mean that the Chinese manufacturer is not working on anything.

In the past weeks, several Lenovo devices have appeared in rumors and other news reports.

Now, a mysterious Lenovo smartphone made an appearance at the Chinese TENAA or the certification agency that is the equivalent of the FCC in the U.S.

According to the report from Phone Arena, the Android-powered handset boasts a huge 6.8-inch display, although the resolution is still unknown. Dubbed as the Lenovo PB1-770N, the device features 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and dual-SIM functionality.

Based on the TENAA listing, the Lenovo PB1-770N will also feature 3,500mAh battery and will be 7.7mm thick.

Meanwhile, a commenter emphasised some of the features and specifications that were not mentioned in the report. Those specs include a octa-core CPU that runs at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 32GB of built-in memory, and a microSD card slot that supports up to 64GB of storage.

Rounding up the alleged specs sheet include a 13MP main shooter, 5MP front camera, and Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box.

Because the mysterious Lenovo phablet has now passed TENAA, the device's announcement date would be sooner rather than later.
