Usain Bolt stormed into the 100M sprint final on Sunday, easing to 9.87 seconds in his semi final race. The 100 meter final takes place at 4.50 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream (details below). Bolt will be going for 3 golds throughout the London Olympics 2012, and his schedule and race dates and times can be found in the list below.

Many are anticipating one of the greatest 100 meter dash contests in modern history as Bolt looks to take on countryman Yohan Blake who ran 9.85 seconds, as well as Justin Gatlin who ran the fastest semi final in 9.82 seconds.

Millions are expected to tune into the race with many expecting a new world record to be set. The London Olympic stadium track in east London has proven to be super fast since the track and field events commenced on Friday, and many are predicting world records will fall en mass throughout the second week of the Games.  Bolt will be looking to defeat his own world record in the 100 meters on Sunday in front of 80,000 spectators at the Olympic stadium.

Bolt is scheduled to compete in the 100 meter dash, the 200 meters, as well as the 4x100 meter relay; all of which the Jamaican is a defending Olympic champion, as well as world record holder. Jamaica and Bolt will be favorites for the 4x100 meter relay event.

Bolt will have to be in his best form to ensure he takes the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter event, and many have touted countryman Yohan Blake to steal the win away from Bolt. Blake defeated Bolt just weeks ago prior to the Olympic Games, and some are saying he is peaking at the right time to beat Bolt.
