Usher, who has remained out of the spotlight since winning his infamous child custody case in August, had plenty to celebrate after a judge awarded him primary custody of his children in his case against his ex-wife Tameka Foster.

Usher and Foster, 41, were embroiled in a long feud over their two youngest children, Usher V, 4, and Naviyd Ely, 3. After enduring a messy divorce, the pair was forced to battle out a child custody case, which Usher ultimately won.

Cruise, 50, who appeared to be in good spirits during Usher's birthday dinner, and can relate to the singer's legal woes as he recently endured his own divorce drama involving his now ex-wife Katie Holmes.
