Episode 4 in the season 6 of the hit supernatural drama series "The Vampire Diaries" will see banished Damon (Ian Smolhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) looking back at the Salvatore's past.

Spoiler reports indicated that Damon and Bonnie "realize that uncovering a time in Damon's past may provide clues to finding their way home." Damon will then be forced to "relive one of the worst days of his life," according to The Futon Critic.

WetPaint further stated that the duo will be stuck in 1994 when they found out something from the vampire's past life. Fans will also see flashback scenes in the upcoming episode that are quite important to the protagonist.

Meanwhile, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) will be spending time together. The elder Salvatore will show the main female protagonist "what it's like to start over and create a new identity."

However, the Stefan-Elena moment will be cut short when an unexpected visitor shows up.

Elsewhere, Zach Roerig's Matt will find himself in a disturbing situation after Tripp (guest star Colin Ferguson) tells him a dark secret. Earlier in "Yellow Ledbetter," Tripp revealed that he is actually a native of Mystic Falls and that he came from the Fell Family, a member of the Founding Families.

Spoilers also suggest Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis) helping out Jeremy in getting back his life together as well as cope with the loss of Bonnie.

TVD S6E4 "Black Hole Sun" airs this coming Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
