Vanessa Lachey Is Ready for Another Child

Vanessa Lachey revealed that she is ready to enlarge her family beyond just her husband Nick Lachey and their son Camden John.

The 32-year-old actress and her husband have been married for two years, and the couple will celebrate their son's first birthday on Sept. 12.

Although busy with her career, which includes the upcoming television series "Dads," Lachey said that she wants a large family.

"I look forward to expanding," she said during Fox's Television Critics Association summer press tour.

"We talked about three [kids]. I've always loved having a big family and truth be told, when I'm old and gray I'll need a couple of them to take care of me," Lachey joked.

Furthermore, during another recent interview, Lachey said that no matter how much Hollywood demands, her family is her first priority.

"My family is number one," said the actress speaking to Life & Style. "I would be happy having the show ("Dads") or not having the show because I have my family."

Lachey went on to gush about her 98 Degrees singer husband who she married on July 15, 2011 on Necker Island.

"As soon as I got married and found my husband Nick, that was my priority," she said. "Then us creating my son Camden … I'll do anything for those guys. To the point that it becomes a choice between the show and them- and I don't think there ever will be because there's a great opportunity for me to integrate the two- I don't have a choice. Family's first."

In addition to Lachey's son's birthday, her husband's 40th birthday arrives in November. The actress said celebrations came early since she starts working on "Dads" on Aug. 14.

"For the last month, I've been planning on my phone and emails planning Camden's birthday and Nick's birthday," she explained to Life & Style. "I just joked to me friend- I said, 'I just hope I don't send Maker's Mark to Camden's birthday and send streamers to Nick's birthday!'"
