People magazine describes the ensemble as "completely comfortable and totally stunning." As for debuting her natural locks, Davis explained, "It gives me flavor. IT makes me feel like I'm spicing up my life a bit."

Davis is nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her portrayal of Aibileen Clark in "The Help." The book and film received rave reviews and harsh criticism for its portrayal of life in 1960's Mississippi. She has already won a Golden Globe for her work.

Women's Media Center cheered: "Go Viola Davis describing her desire to 'humanize' her character in 'The Help.'"

In an interview with Rhode Island College's What's News Online, David described her role. "By being 'fully realized,' I mean that Aibileen's emotional life is fully explored. The joy of being an actor is that the bigger the puzzle, the greater the satisfaction there is in putting it together. You want your character to be as multifaceted as possible."

Up next for Davis are three film roles in blockbuster movies including, "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close," "Beautiful Creatures," and "Ender's Game," which will open in 2013.
