U.K. based carrier Vodafone has created a registration page for customers interested in "the next Galaxy smartphone" to be launched by Samsung on May 5 at its Mobile Unpacked event in London, England.

Many insiders expect Samsung to launch the Galaxy S3 that day.

Customers can visit Vodafone's U.K. site to register to receive updates on the "next Galaxy."

"Fill out your details. And we will fill you in on everything about the new Galaxy," wrote the site.

Samsung launched two teaser videos promoting the upcoming Galaxy phone this week.

And since Vodafone is already allowing customers to register their interest for the device, it is almost definite that whatever Samsung ends up unveiling will be available for the carrier when it hits stores.

The U.S. version will most likely be available for Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile when it is released, since its predecessor, the S2, was launched on those carriers.

The Korean electronics giant sent out an invite to the event last week called "Come and meet the next Galaxy," where the company will inform the public on just what that is.

This event, now being called Mobile Unpacked in the new ad, is set to take place on May 5 in London, England.

Samsung is also rumored to be unveiling the next-generation Galaxy Tab at the event as well.

The company recently stated that the Galaxy S3 launch and unveiling will take place close together. This means Galaxy fans should be able to get their hands on the smartphone sometime next month.

Rumored specifications for the Galaxy S3 include a 4.6-inch display at 720 x 1184 without on-screen buttons or 720 x 1280 resolution including the on-screen buttons with 320 DPI, a quad-core 1.4GHZ processor running Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich smoothly, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD slot.
