Allie Becomes a New Person as She Finds Justice for Bea in 'Wentworth' Season 5

Some fans are still hoping that "Wentworth" season 5 will still see Bea Smith (Danielle Cormack) alive and well, but it looks like this is not going to hapcjdpen.

Her death is expected to be a launching pad for Allie's (Kate Jenkinson) transformation. Nothing changes a person like the death of someone she dearly loved.

In "Wentworth" season 5, Ferguson (Pamela Rabe) makes an enemy out of Allie. Her act of revenge will be put in motion in the new season.

Some say that Allie could end up being the new top dog, honoring her beloved by succeeding her throne in the prison and making sure she continues Bea's legacy.

With Bea dead in "Wentworth" season 5, fans should not expect Allie solid as a rock, at least not immediately. The new season will see her mourn her death. In an interview with Curve Magazine, Jenkinson said that Allie feels alone without Bea.

"Bea's death makes Allie a much more interesting character. She was so close, for the first time in her life, to being with someone she loved and who loved her in return, and despite the obvious dangers, Allie felt quite safe within the prison walls," the actress explained.

"But now she has none of that, she's not safe, she has no one, her love has been ripped away from her, obviously there will always be drugs in prison, so she's exposed to that. She's vulnerable, devastated, heart-broken and dangerously obsessed with revenge, so that's a far more interesting character than a happy girl with a crush," she went on to say.

There is no word on when "Wentworth" season 5 will premiere, but it is expected it will hit the small screen as early as May. After all, it was that month last year that the fourth season premiered.

What Foxtel has said is that "Wentworth" season 5 is definitely coming this year. Just like the last two seasons, it will have a dozen episodes.
