What Is Jesus Doing in Heaven?

About 2,000 years have passed since the Lord Jesus Christ left the Earth to return to Heaven. What has He been doing all this time? One thing He's been doing is to prepare a beautiful home for His children! Jesus promised, "In my Father's house [Heaven] are many rooms . . . I am going there to prepare a place for you" (John 14:2).
Will this home look like a fine house in Asia, Africa or America? Will it look like a grand castle in Europe or a beautiful island home? We can't begin to imagine! Nothing on Earth will come close to its beauty! A perfect God who loves you very much is making this perfect place!

Not only is the Lord Jesus preparing a place for you, He is preparing you for that place! He wants you to be ready to enjoy all that He is making for you. For this reason, He is also praying for you. "Christ Jesus . . . is at the right hand of God and is also interceding [praying] for us" (Romans 8:34). Isn't it wonderful to know that Jesus is thinking about you right now? He loves you, He prays for you and He looks forward to being with you forever!
