Which Console Has The Most Number Of Exclusive Games?

The E3 2016 is a few months away and this year is looking to be a big year in gaming, especially with the release of several virtual reality headsets. Despite VR technology, however, old-fashioned gaming through the use of gaming console remains to be the popular choice among casual and serious gamers. Between the two choices, Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's PlayStation 4, a Tech Times report looked at how each console fared in terms of console-exclusive games that are for release this year.

The Sony PlayStation 4 remains to be the popular choice, with over 36 million units sold. According to the Tech Times report, there are quite a number of games that are set for release this year. These include the action platformer game "Ratchet and Clank" developed by Insomniac Games arriving on April 12 and "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," the action-adventure title by Naughty Dog arriving on April 26. . The huge open-world space exploration game, "No Man's Sky" is also up for release on June 21, while the lesser known platform game, "Shadow of the Beast" will be coming on May 17. There 21 other games lined up in 2016, but sadly not all of them have definite release dates. Three games: "EVE: Valkyrie," "The Tomorrow Children," and "Umbrella Corps" have a release window of spring 2016, and "Star Ocean 5" has a release window of fall 2016.

The Xbox One compared to the PS4, does not have as many exclusives up for release this year. The only game that has a definite release date of April 12 is Remedy's "Quantum Break," a third-person shooter video game. According to the report, there are only eight games lined up for the Xbox One. Only four of these have release windows: "Below" and "Crackdown 3" will be out by summer 2016, while "Gears of War 4" and "Halo Wars 2" have a fall 2016 window.
