Will Smith, 43-year-old actor who is returning to the big screen after a three-year hiatus, recently opened up about divorce rumors concerning his family and keeping his talented children under control.
Smith is promoting his upcoming movie "Men in Black III" set to make a May 25 debut in theaters. However, he recently spoke with Access Hollywood about rumors concerning a divorce from his wife of 15 years, Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Last August, the couple made headlines amid speculation that they were heading for a divorce. Although they released a statement dispelling the rumors, the topic still circulated.
However, Smith said he does not let those types of stories bother him.
"For me with that type of stuff you can't take that personally. It's just a game," Smith told Access Hollywood. "And it's funny I don't look at things as the upside or downside you know? It's just a part of the game, you know?"
The actor said he understood why people would make stories up stories about his family.
"I'm not gonna play that part, but I can understand where somebody would have something in their heart where they need to stab at somebody, where they need to poke at somebody," Smith said. "But I'm indestructible."
The actor also spoke to entertainment television show host Shaun Robinson about disciplining his children Jaden,13, and Willow,11, who have been working in the entertainment industry over the past few years. Although Smith said both of his children were a lot of work, he admitted that things were a lot more simple with his 13-year-old son.
"Listen -- look, that's a handful. That Willow, she is, uh… You see, boys are easy," Smith told Access Hollywood. "Like, it's really easy with boys. It's like, until you can beat me in a fist fight you've gotta do what I say!"
