The Winter Jam Tour Spectacular announced its 2014 artist and city line-up at an invitation-only event yesterday at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.
The Winter Jam Tour is the highest ranked first quarter tour in America based on attendance for the third consecutive year.
The Newsboys and rap/hip-hop recording artist Lecrae will be the biggest artists billed, and the tour will also feature: Tenth Avenue North, Thousand Foot Krutch, Plumb, NewSong and Colton Dixon, as well as the gospel from Nick Hall.
Additionally, the iDisciple App Pre-Jam Party will feature Love & The Outcome, Everfound and Derek Minor.
Winter Jam 2014 Tour Spectacular will pass through 47 cities next year, beginning on January 3 at Raleigh, North Carolina's PNC Arena, and then make its way through Chicago's Sears Centre Arena; the Georgia Dome in Atlanta; St. Louis' Scottrade Center; the Toyota Center in Houston; Detroit's Joe Louis Arena; and Kansas City's Sprint Center, before wrapping up on March 30 at the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska.

The 2014 tour is shaping up to be our biggest and most innovative Winter Jam yet, and we can't wait for audiences to experience it."
An official Winter Jam App for both Android and iOS devices was created this year. It features interactive venue maps; free Winter Jam radio; an interactive mobile light show; social media connections; giveaways; Jam Nation membership purchases; and a Winter Jam store, among other features. Pepsi is the official soft drink of Winter Jam, and is the sponsor for the Winter Jam 2014 Tour Spectacular. They will distribute 13 million Winter Jam-branded cans in a 13-state region beginning later this fall.
The beverage giant will run radio campaigns and detailed social media strategies, along with Pepsi/Winter Jam displays in 120 Casey's General Stores in the Midwest.

The Winter Jam Tour Spectacular began in 1995, when Christian group NewSong came up with a new way for Christian's to experience a high quality music event.
Winter Jam West kicks-off in Los Angeles November 8.
