A Spanish court heard a new testimony on Wednesday from a woman who claims that Saudi Arabian Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal raped her in 2008.
The woman has alleged that the Saudi Arabian prince raped her on a Spanish yacht off of the island of Ibiza.
The woman, 23, filed a complaint against the prince in 2008, but an Ibiza court originally discarded the case due to a lack of evidence. The alleged victim appealed to a higher court and the investigation was ultimately reopened.
The prince has yet to be formally charged with any crime regarding the case.
The woman, who works as a fashion model, told the court that her drink was spiked while attending a nightclub on the island of Ibiza. She said that after being drugged, she was lured onto the 384-foot yacht where the billionaire prince raped her.
The prince, who was not present at the court hearing, maintains his innocence in the case.

In a statement released by his lawyer, Horacio Oliva, the prince claims to have not been to the island in over a decade, and that he was likely mistaken by the model for an impersonator.
The statement also indicated that the prince has verifiable documentation showing that in August of 2008, he was vacationing in France with his family. He has hotel receipts, cell phone records, and passport stamps to prove his innocence.
“We strongly support the action of the Ibiza prosecutors and the judge to fully examine the false, unsubstantiated and constantly evolving story of the alleged victim, her mother and her lawyers,” Oliva said in the statement.
The woman, who was accompanied by her mother to the Spanish court, has dual German and Spanish citizenship. The court hearing lasted for two hours.
Back in September, one of the woman’s lawyers, Max Turiel, told CNN that his client had remains of semen that should be examined against the prince’s DNA.
