WWE NXT Takeover 2016 News: Samoa Joe Takes on Shinsuke Nakamura; Divas and Tag Team Championships, Undercards, Preview and Schedule

Several big names are in for a rumble tonight in NXT TakeOver: Back 2 Brooklyn. WWE executive director Triple H confirmed that cards will feature the best in NXT Diva roster apart from singles and tag team superstars. Triple H made the announcement on Saturday that wrestling fans will have a bit of everything in the mayhem night.

The Main Events

NXT Divas Bayley and Asuka will start the championship cards. Bayley is coming in hot pursuing a second chance to wear the NXT championship belt. On the other corner, Asuka is seeking domination in the women's circle by brushing the competition away.

In the men's main event, Shinsuka Nakamura will take on Samoa Joe for the championship round. Nakamura is a heavy favorite for the win because of anticipation for a cross over in the WWE proper brand. However, the heavy-pounding Joe is going to be a tough match for the Japanese star.

WWE NXT is also a battle of the bearded warriors in the tag team championships. John Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa will rumble against Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. The Revival will indeed try to reclaim their reputation after an embarrassing defeat earlier this month. To recall, Dawson and Wilder taunted the champions by proclaiming that they are the best. The match ended in humiliation.

The Undercards

Ember Moon is given particular hype in the press conference although her opponent is not yet named. Ember is easily climbing the ladder as a next superstar by taking on notable opponents in her recent outings. WWE has also given a twist in her character with several flairs in build-up as mystery persona.

There are also reports that the Bella sisters are sighted in the Brooklyn but there are limited information if they are filming for the NXT promotions or SummerSlam. The twins Nikki and Brie made a whirlwind announcement in Instagram that they are ready and given a green light to climb the ring.

Meanwhile, Austin Aries will take on No Way Jose in an attempt to bully the new face. Reports said that there is a huge possibility for Aries to conquer the "smaller" Jose. The analysis stemmed from a prospect of making Aries as a replacement for the inactive Rey Mysterio. However, Jose cannot easily be discounted as a potential superstar so an upset can also happen.

Pay-per-view, tickets and schedule

The tickets for Barclays Center in Brooklyn is already sold out but wrestling fans can still catch the thrill via PPV at ticketmaster.com.

WWE NXT will start at 8 p.m. ET but will also feature a pre-show thirty minutes earlier. Fans can also see the live matchups through the official WWE Network site.
