WWE Rumors: Predictions for WWE 2018; Roman Reigns Turning Heel, Ronda Rousey Debut?

The future is always uncertain in WWE, but there is reason to hope it will be good. Sure, the programming is suffering from a ratings slump, but the stream of new talent on Raw and SmackDown seems enough to will WWE into another golden era.

The Camel Clutch Blog hypes WWE's biggest names in the future with some interesting predictions. If these men and women can't make the cut this year, a tweak or two might launch them to stardom in two years' time.

Big Cass is appropriately named for a guy his size. He is seven feet tall, but his in-ring ability and improving promos make him deserve a push more than his size.

Granted, Cass had already tasted main event contention. In the August 29 edition of Raw, he participated in a Fatal 4-Way match for the Universal Title, albeit being the first one eliminated. In this week's main event, he and partner Enzo Amore battled and lost to Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho.

SAWFT is predicted to have a run of its own for the tag titles, but Cass might be gaining a title berth of his own come 2018, much like big guys before him.

Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss is currently the top heel in the SmackDown Women's Division, relentlessly chasing Becky Lynch for the Women's Championship. Her mean streak had been a good gimmick to launch her into title contention, and she enjoys her run as a villain so far. She is a very able wrestler and a good mic worker, and may have already won any of the Women's titles by 2018.

Dolph Ziggler

When Dolph Ziggler won the World Heavyweight Championship in 2012, the crowd erupted into a huge pop. However, the Show-off would lose it sooner than expected to injuries. Since then, he had yet to win a championship belt and is chasing a midcard title instead.

That said, he puts his career on the line vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Title at No Mercy and rumor has it that Ziggler would be done with the company by then. He might be a champion elsewhere, maybe TNA, in 2018.

Roman Reigns

It is reportedly unlikely for Roman Reigns to turn heel soon, despite the crowd wanting to boo him every time he steps out of the locker room. WWE officials, even Vince McMahon, are very high on the Samoan superstar and it might take one more year of boos before they finally come to their senses.

Ronda Rousey

Since Ronda Rousey appeared on WrestleMania 31, there had been a lot of rumors suggesting she would join WWE. If she does come in, the self-proclaimed wrestling fan could either face Stephanie McMahon, whom she slapped in the 'Mania, or Queen Charlotte herself.
