Xbox Announces Ultimate Game Sale From July 7 to 13

Exciting news for Xbox gamers – Microsoft recently announced that they will be launching the Ultimate Game Sale, starting on July 7, Tuesday running until July 13. The news was shared by Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb, who is Director of Programming of Xbox Live, Microsoft's gaming network through a Twitter post.

His tweet was more than just an announcement. He also posted a video which he called a "sneak peak" of the sale, showing gameplay clips of the biggest games included in the sale. The sale, according to the video, boasts of 40% to 50% savings on over 70 games. Xbox One and Xbox 360 games are included in the sale.

Xbox Live Gold members get an additional 10 or more off the games. To avail of the sale, gamers need to be signed in to their Xbox Live accounts, according to a report in Tech Times.

  • Diablo 3
  • Dragon Age: Inquisition
  • Far Cry 4
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • Ori and the Blind Forest
  • Titanfall
  • Goat Simulator
  • Assassin's Creed III
  • Borderlands: The Handsome Collection

It is expected that like its previous Ultimate Game Sales, daily offers will be made available and are subject to change on a daily basis. There may also be offers that will last for more than a day. In 2014, Microsoft let go of some Xbox 360 titles for as much as 70 percent off.

This is the second Ultimate Game Sale conducted this year, the first one was held in February 2015. The next thing that gamers are waiting for is the details on how much discounts will be offered on which Xbox games.

Either way, gamers need to start saving up if they want to get their hands on their favorite games at lower prices.
