Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Games Latest News: 'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare,' 'Sonic Adventure' Joins Lineup
The Xbox One Backwards Compatibility got a new addition in the form of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and "Sonic Adventure." The two titles are now playable in their Xbox 360 versions, which is good news for fans either franchise who want to experience both games on the platform.
Developed by Sledgehammer and starring Kevin Spacey, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will join other games in the franchise that are already backwards compatible, including "World At War," "Call of Duty 2," "Call of Duty 3," "Call of Duty: Black Ops" and "Call of Duty: Black Ops II." Set in the near-future, the shooter broke franchise tradition by not portraying historical battlefields but rather the fictional battlefields of tomorrow.
The game is already available on the Xbox One but for those who don't have that version or are unwilling to pay for it, they can now add it to their library. Simply pop the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" game disc into the system to get started.

The same goes for "Sonic Adventure," the platform video game originally released for the Sega Dreamcast back in the late 90's. SEGA brought in the game as a digital release for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 allowing a new generation of gamers to enjoy it.
Many fans consider Sonic's leap into the 3D space to be a good one and the game still plays surprisingly well despite being dated for most gamers. However, it is still a great Sonic experience despite its age and pitfalls.
Microsoft also added four Xbox 360 "Halo" titles to the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility. After months of teasing, "Halo 3," "Halo 3: ODST," "Halo 4," and "Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary" recently joined their fellow alien-shooter brethren on the platform for fans to enjoy.
