Furthermore, Efron and Collins sparked rumors of a romance back in Feb. 2012. At the time, numerous sources linked the actors after both were spotted at Los Angeles' STK restaurant.

"They even walked in holding hands," a witness told People magazine. Efron and Collins then met up for a friend's birthday celebration.

"They had a drink at the bar together and then joined the birthday crew on the patio," the insider continued.

One week later, Efron and the "Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" actress spent Valentine's Day together at West Hollywood's SoHo House.

Meanwhile, Collins was previously linked to "Twilight" actor Taylor Lautner before they split in 2010.

Alternately, in 2011, Efron was named in headlines alongside Demi Moore amidst her divorce from Ashton Kutcher.

However, it turned out that the "High School Musical" star had simply sent well-wishes to the 50-year-old actress regarding the "personal stuff" she was coping with.

While his romantic history is somewhat unknown, Efron surprised fans after reports indicated that the former Disney underwent rehab for drugs earlier this year.

According to TMZ, Efron completed a stint in rehab about six months ago, but that he is clean and sober now.

In addition to seeking recovery from an addiction to cocaine, Efron was reportedly drinking heavily and dabbled in "Molly," a form of Ecstasy popular at clubs and raves.
