'Agent Carter' Season 2 News, Cast, Spoilers: Ken Marino Is the New Big Bad

As "Agent Carter" prepares for a second season, many wonder who the potential big bad that Peggy Carter will be up against. Casting is currently happening, and the latest addition to the show is making fans think that perhaps this person will be the new main villain.

According to Screen Rant, Ken Marino is geared to join the series in its second year. He will be playing mob boss Joseph Manfredi and will be responsible for keeping the ball of evil plans rolling for Carter's enemies. Joseph is the son of mob boss Silvio Manfredi, a.k.a. Silvermane. Before Joseph decided to enter the family business, he also attempted to become a full-fledged costumed villain named Blackwing. His villain counterpart was known for using trained bats that were in the Circus of Crime. During this time, he was also said to be working with Hydra, the Skeleton Crew, as well as the Masters of Evil. However, as the casting has now been revealed, it seems that viewers will witness Joseph as the dedicated mob boss, with his evil ways may be surfacing in other ways.

Since the cast of Marino, it has been speculated that perhaps the appearance of Silvermane will later happen. However, the show may face great scrutiny if an iconic villain will be portrayed poorly and so it would be no wonder that the introduction of Joseph Manfredi will be used to develop the show's own story line and which will have a lower expectation.
