'Just Cause 3' News: Early Released Copies Reveal Screenshots of Colorful Environments

A NeoGAF user has just released new screenshots of Avalanche Studios and Square Enix's upcoming action-adventure video game, "Just Cause 3," which is scheduled for launch next month.

With news that early copies of "Just Cause 3" have been circulating in the Middle East, NeoGaf user 'nbnt' has just outed new screenshots to reveal a colorful environment of fields and distances for their upcoming third title in the "Just Cause" series.

The open-world action adventure game is said to require players to have at least 37 GB of available space on their PS4 hard disk to install "Just Cause 3," which will run 1080p on the console at 30 fps.

The screenshots feature a tropical paradise dotted with intricate architecture and streets dotted with sports cars, all of which players will have to destroy in the most spectacular way possible, predominantly via explosives.

Some of the environments feature colorfully-rendered open fields and other picturesque views seen from high above and far away, from the perspective of main protagonist, Rico Rodriguez.

The game is set a number of years following the events that occurred in "Just Cause 2," with Rico leaving the Agency and going back to his fictional Mediterranean island hometown of Medici.

Unfortunately, Medici is now ruled by a cruel dictator named General Di Ravello, who is using the island as a stepping stone towards word domination.

It is up to players, who will take on Rico's character, to destroy his plans by blowing up buildings, vehicles, and other structures on the 400 square mile map, featuring underground caverns, cityscapes, countrysides and oceans.

Players will be using Rico's signature tools, the grappling hook and parachute, as well as a newly featured wingsuit to help them glide the hero much faster across a variety of terrains.

Rico will also have access to shotgun RPGs, missile launchers, and vehicles, like exotic sports cars, ships, planes, and fighter aircraft that can be customized and used as destructive weapons.

"Just Cause 3" is scheduled to launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox one on December 1.
