Walt (Robert Taylor) looks headed for heartbreak that will be brought on by his own daughter Cady (Cassidy Freeman) and his best and most trusted friend, Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) in "Longmire" Season 5.

Cady it is said, will be working for Jacob Nighthorse (A Martinez), who is a local businessman whom Walt has long suspected to have something to do with his wife's murder. In the "Longmire" Season 4 finale, Jacob offered Cady a job to represent the Cheyenne natives. It appears that Cady accepted the job offer.
Against Walt's principles and beliefs
Meanwhile, Henry received an offer himself but in his case, it was from Officer Mathias. Speculations arose that the offer will be something that will have Henry doing something that will go against Walt's principles and beliefs that will ultimately cause a rift between the two friends in "Longmire" Season 5.

In the trailer, Walt can be seen calling Henry on all his lies and a heated confrontation between the two ensues. There is even a speculation about Henry being the one behind an accident Walt Longmire will be involved in this coming season.
A recent Twitter post by Cassidy Freeman featuring the poster for "Longmire" Season 5 and containing the intriguing tagline saying that loyalty is a dying breed. This led many to speculate that the central theme of the new season will be betrayal. Not only will it likely cause the death of Walt and Henry's friendship but there are spoilers that say that it will probably cause Henry's death as well.
Taking it to the next level
One of the highlights of the trailer that had the fans excited is the scene of Walt and his deputy, Vic Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) having a conversation. Since the Craig Johnson's books from where the TV series was based contained a romantic storyline between the two, it has long been speculated that Walt and Vic will cross the line from their professional relationship in "Longmire Season 5".
