Nintendo Selects Game Bundles Released for 3DS and Wii U Gamers: 'The Legend of Zelda,' 'Animal Crossing' Included
In line with the school season, Nintendo of America has recently announced that they have several new deals in line for the 3DS and the Wii U.
The next line of Nintendo Selects will be available on August 26, with several games released for both the Wii U and 3DS game systems. The new line of Nintendo Selects is available for $19.99. The games included in the bundle are:
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS)
- LEGO City Undercover (Wii U)
- Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (3DS)
- Nintendogs + Cats – Golden Retriever and New Friends (3DS)
- Nintendo Land (Wii U)
- LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins (3DS)
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (Wii U)
- Tomodachi Life (3DS)

For the gamers that have not yet owned the new Nintendo 3DS, they have a chance to purchase a 3DS that includes the new 3DS bundle. The new device will be available with a pre-installed game Super Mario 3D Land and two sets of the Mario face plates. One of the plates is designed from Super Mario Maker's 8-bit amiibo sprites.
This limited edition bundle can be available starting on August 26 only at Wal-Mart and Target stores. This new bundle is available for a price of $149.99, making it the most affordable New 3DS bundle offered in North America. Previous New 3DS bundles such as the Pokémon Red and Blue ($199.99) and the Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer ($219.99) were both much more expensive.
Upcoming Nintendo Game Bundles
Aside from the promotional sales in 3DS, Nintendo also plans to release a series of Wii U and amiibo game bundles in the near future. This includes two Mario Party 10 bundles with either the Bowser or Peach from the Super Mario amiibo line, and Yoshi's Woolly World with either a Blue or Pink Yarn Yoshi.
There is also a Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker bundle featuring the Toad amiibo bundle to be released, which will be the first such bundle sold in North America.
All the bundles will be available once it is launched on September 9 at a bargain price of $39.99, which is almost half the value of the typical amiibo game bundles that are priced at $59.99.
All game bundles are available for pre-order at Amazon. These game bundles were leaked earlier this year as part of the new slate of games from Nintendo in 2016. While the new wave didn't make the September release, they are going to be announced by Nintendo soon.
