'One Tree Hill' Cast Reunion: Chad Michael Murray, James Lafferty and Other Series Stars to Gather at Upcoming Convention in Chicago This November

After the Show Ended in 2012, the Cast are Bound to Get Together Once Again

Good news for the fans of "One Tree Hill." It has recently been confirmed that the cast of the show that ended four years ago will have a mini reunion in Chicago this coming fall.

The CW teen drama, which aired back in 2003 and ended in 2012, ran for nine seasons since its premiere. In the duration of these nine long years, the show was filmed in North Carolina.

Upon news of the upcoming reunion, fans eagerly hoped that the reunion will be in the same place. However, it has been decided that the cast of the show will all come together at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, according to International Business Times. An EyeCon convention will be held there, one which the cast is going to attend, from Nov. 11-13, 2016.

Several of the show's main protagonists are set to make an appearance during the convention, including Chad Michael Murray who played Lucas Scott and James Lafferty who played the role of his brother, Nathan Scott.

The show was mainly centered on the lives of the two brothers and their relationship with one another as well as with other people. The convention will include autograph-signing sessions, panels and even special performances by the actors themselves.

However, this isn't the first time that the cast of the show had a reunion. Some of them were present during the EyeCon event that was held in Wilmington, North Carolina last March. Lafferty, however, was one of the main casts who was not able to attend.

Aside from these events and conventions, they also got into a little get-together in Montreal, one which was organized by Sophia Bush. This was held August last year.

When asked about a possible revival or comeback of the show, Lafferty was definitely open to the idea, as reported by ET Online. He did not confirm any revival of the show, but if it was a possibility, the 30-year-old actor said he would definitely consider it.

The cast haven't been in so many reunions since its series finale in April 2012. This upcoming one is definitely exciting for the fans since it has been a while since they have seen most of the actors altogether and talk about the show.
