Xbox One users are sure to be the first one to notice the complete overhaul made in the game library that now features lots of options when searching for a specific game or apps. Comparably, the old menu shows the games and apps, the new update gives more flexibility since the search can be filtered based on several options like how frequent the use is, hits and number of downloads. There are also "updates" and "ready to install" sections to provide gamers with additional ease.

Organizing games and apps

Probably, the best new feature in the Anniversary Update is the capability to organize the games and apps. This is very useful for gamers who have tons of games in their machine since they don't have to scroll down on long columns unlike in the old Xbox One.

Now specifically for US and UK gamers, the Anniversary Update will give Xbox one Microsoft's digital assistant Cortana. The experience will provide additional "lazy" flexibility by using voice commands instead of typing them. A player can now simply utter commands like "Cortana, please load the (name of the game).

Background music

Another best part about the update is the new feature to change or swap "stock" background music of the games and use any soundtrack instead. Meaning, someone who likes fast-paced music can then utilize the function to replace the original game soundtrack. Launching this feature doesn't affect the game's performance in a decent machine.

Meanwhile, Microsoft said that they are happy with the excellent reception that Windows 10 received compared to other previous versions of Windows. There are now 350 million devices using Windows 10 and accumulated 135 billion hours of use since it was launched.

For those who are wondering, Windows 10 Anniversary Update was launched this Tuesday and can be downloaded either direct to the device or to a storage device as an iso file.
