Some child musical prodigies perform their art with an android-like focus, leaning on hundreds of hours of disciplined practice and the resultant muscle memory. And then there's 3-year-old Howard Wong of Malaysia in this 2010 video.
In a shopping mall, Howard, clad in a Santa cap, plays a child-size drum kit like a champ along to Joan Jett's "I Have Myself for Loving You." At the beginning of the song, he's a little stiff, but by the time when we come in, he's smiling for the crowd and able to laugh off dropping a stick.
