'30 Rock' Star Married: Katrina Bowden Says 'I Do' in Brooklyn (PHOTO)

"30 Rock" actress Katrina Bowden was married in Brooklyn, New York over the weekend.

Bowden married musician Ben Jorgensen on Sunday at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Rain or shine, and it was mostly rain, the ceremony carried on. But even before the festivities began, Bowden described the event build up as "crazy."

"It's just crazy," Bowden told People magazine before taking a walk down the aisle. "I didn't know anything about weddings. ... It's just kind of nuts."

Bowden announced her engagement to the former "Armor for Sleep" lead singer last year during on the red carpet at the 2012 Screen Actors Guild awards.

"He proposed and showed me the ring and I was so shocked and said, 'Omigod,' and I hugged him and he said to me, 'So is that a yes?'" Bowden told E! News while on the red carpet.

The actress, who plays Cerie, the assistant to Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) on NBC's "30 Rock," was born in New Jersey and has also made appearances on shows like "New Girl" and "Ugly Betty." She has been dating Jorgensen for over two years and despite having difficulties planning the wedding, when it came to her dress it was a "no brainer."

"It was very easy to find. It was one of the first dresses I tried on," she told People. "I had seen it and I thought, 'I love that dress.' I tried on a few others, just to try some on. But once I tried on the dress that I got, it was a no-brainer."

To help plan the honeymoon, the couple decided to create a website which requested donations from guests.

"This gift registry is very exciting because it allows you to contribute directly to making our honeymoon the best it can possibly be," Bowden wrote on the couple's page.
