'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' plot news: Stars reveal exciting events in season 3
Stars of the series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." have recently shared details about what to expect for the upcoming season.
During the Television Critics Association, Elizabeth Henstridge recently spoke to Zap2it about her character. She explained that she herself was surprised about the fate of her character, and did not expect it to end up that way. She said, "It's so much bigger than I thought it would be. What it is, I thought about it and was like, 'How would they do that? How would they film that?' I just dismissed everything in the realm of this idea. It's very cool. It's very cool." Henstridge, who plays Simmons, assured fans that they will soon find the answer to the question of where she was brought and the outcome of her abduction. Her partner, Fitz, played by Iain DeCaesteker, will be working on finding her, even though the other agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. already believe that she is dead.
Another actress of the series, Adrianne Palicki, explained what will happen to her character. Her character will be facing a lot of challenges and powerful enemies. She will have to deal with her missing knee and lung, which will add on to her worries according to Den of Geek. Along with the character's plans for the season, it was also reported that ABC has intentions of creating a spin-off featuring the "Friday Night Lights" star Palicki. However, it is speculated that it will be presented as a new pilot itself, and separate from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The show will be headed by Jeff Bell and Paul Zbyszewski. The spin-off is allegedly nearing its finalization; however, nothing has been confirmed by the reps of the network and by Marvel.
