'Better Call Saul' News, Spoilers: Jimmy Meets With Lawyers, Jonathan Banks Talks About Mike

AMC's hit "Breaking Bad" spin-off series "Better Call Saul" is only be two episodes away before it closes its first season. But the events are getting more exciting and intriguing as the show moves on in this week's episode titled "Rico."

Spoiler report from Penn Live cited a batch of promo photos for the upcoming segment showing the budding attorney Jimmy McGill (Bob Odendirk) discussing with his brother Chuck (Michael McKean) over something.

The elder McGill, as followers of the show remember, has seemed to shun off anything that involves his past life including electronics and legal works. But in this picture, it appears that he might be back on track and is helping his brother with a case.

The other photos also featured Jimmy sitting down with a group of suits while his future PI, Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) is shown back on his cubicle.

Speaking of Mike, fans were able to take a glimpse of his shady and troubled past in an episode before the last.

Filled with guilt and remorse over his actions, the former Philly cop journeyed to Albuquerque in hopes of correcting things particularly that of his son's issues.

"He is somebody who carries his guilt.... If it's not debilitating, it marks his life and there's no amount of: 'You must live ahead, look to the future.' No, that's not for Mike. Mike knows his guilt and he lives with his guilt," Banks told The Vancouver Sun.

Discussing his character, Banks informed the publication that the investigation about Mike's involvement in the killing of two Philly police officers is "not over yet."

And for those who wondered how he became the man who had a close working relationship with Jimmy in Breaking Bad, the latest episode perhaps offered an idea.

"Mike is not without gratitude, you know. As much as Jimmy may be an irritant to him, he also realizes that the guy stood up for him just by spilling the coffee, if nothing else," he added.

"Better Call Saul" airs this Monday, March 23 with episode titled "Rico" on AMC.
