Beverley Mitchell Welcomes Baby Girl Kenzie

"7th Heaven" star Beverley Mitchell and husband Michael Cameron welcomed daughter Kenzie Lynne Cameron on Thursday, March 28, her rep has confirmed. It's the first child for both, and it's clear the two are head-over-heels in love with their daughter.

"We have fallen instantly in love and can't wait to be the best parents we can to our beautiful little angel. Thank you for all the love and well wishes. Mom, Kenzie and Dad are settling in perfectly," Mitchell told People magazine.

Kenzie weighed 5 lbs., 15 oz. and was 18.5 inches long at birth. Mitchell has tweeted that she didn't expect her daughter to be so little, so now she's "forced" to go shopping for new clothes for the little one.

"Now I am really in trouble. Can't wait to dress my little angel, only trouble is she is so little she doesn't fit in anything I have! So sad I have to go shopping 4 this beautiful little girl. #sonotsad Truly the sweetest little girl in the world, but I guess I'm partial," Mitchell tweeted earlier today.

Mitchell starred as middle daughter Lucy on the hit Christian series "7th Heaven." She has some experience playing a mother, but this is a whole new role for the new mom. Mitchell blogged about her pregnancy for People and kept readers abreast of her cravings, desires and hopes for her child.

Even though she knew she was having a girl, Mitchell previously said that she was not certain on any names.

"We want to meet her first," she told Us Weekly. "I already know she's got tons of personality in there because she's definitely an active one: turns, kicks, jabs, the whole nine yards."

"Thank you for all the love! I never knew a love like this existed. Michael and I are mesmerized by our little Kenzie! She's perfect," Mitchell tweeted.
