However, the Grammy Award-winning singer who said she has "such a full life" said Blue Ivy made her better understand her purpose.

"I feel like now I know the reason I was born," Knowles explained to ET.

The singer and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, have been vocal about their new family addition in the media after years of keeping a low profile. Recently, Knowles told People magazine that she already knew the biggest lesson that she would work to teach her first daughter.

"My biggest thing is to teach [Blue] not to focus on the aesthetic," Beyonce told People magazine, the publication that named her the most beautiful woman in the world. "It's really about who you are, and the human being, that makes you beautiful."

The Grammy Award-winning singer told the magazine that giving birth made her feel truly beautiful.

"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth," said Beyonce. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth."

Her husband recently spoke to media mogul Oprah Winfrey about their daughter, saying Blue Ivy "will probably be the worst, spoiled kid ever."

In a song dedicated to his four-month old daughter, Jay-Z spoke about Blue Ivy being a gift from God.

"God's gift, I wish I would've prayed more. God makes no mistakes, I made a few. Rough sledding here and there, but I made it through," he rhymed in the song. "I wreak havoc on the world, get ready for part two. A younger, smarter, faster me. So a pinch of Hov, a whole glass of Béy."

The rapper's wife will get back on the stage for the first time in a year on May 25, 26 and 27, which will coincide with the launch of the newly built $2.4 million Revel entertainment center and resort in Atlantic City.
