'Boruto' Chapters 10, 11 Spoilers: Next-Gen Ninjas Embark in New Adventures as Character Backgrounds Are Revealed

The first exciting arc of the monthly manga series "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" has finally reached its end, and it is time for Boruto and his friends to embark on a brand new adventure in the upcoming 11th chapter of the popular "Naruto" spin-off.

Chapter 10 saw Boruto encountering Momoshiki's lingering spirit in the God Tree wherein he was told that by defeating a god, he has ceased to be just an ordinary son of man.

Momoshiki gave Naruto's son an ominous warning regarding his blue eyes, that they will eventually take everything he holds dear away from him. The Otsutsuki has also left a seal on Boruto's right hand that somehow resembled a Byakugou and which could contain either Momoshiki's chakra or his very own will, as speculated by some fans.

If this is the case, the seal that Momoshiki left on Boruto could eventually turn his Byakugan into a more powerful Tenseigan, a visual jutsu that results from the combination of the Otsusuki and Hyuga chakra. This particular jutsu is characterized by blue pupils with irises that contain a white, floral pattern. Could this be what Momoshiki said when he told Boruto that his blue eyes would bring him suffering in the future?

Others are speculating that the upcoming chapter 11 will tread a lighter path as it introduces the other main characters' backgrounds, especially that of the mysterious Mitsuki. The manga has not yet given him a chance to tell his teammates about his origins. How would they react when they find out that they he is the son of the infamous Orochimaru?

Chapter 10 also seemed to have hinted at a possible rivalry between Boruto and Gaara's adopted son, Shinki, which has fans thinking that they might engage in a showdown sometime in the future.

The anime adaptation of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" is also about to begin and promises to present a brand new story arc that has not yet been seen before. It kicks off on Wednesday, April 5, at 5:55 p.m. JST on TV Tokyo.
