In addition to the games, PlayStation video game developer for Naughty Dog Neil Druckmann and comic artist Faith Erin Hicks will be on site signing copies of "The Last of Us: American Dreams" at the Dark Horse comics booth on July 19. Hicks will also be speaking at "The Art of Video Games" panel later on in the day.

The Walking Dead series creator Robert Kirkman will be there on July 20 to talk about the Walking Dead game for the Vita.

Microsoft will be showing new releases for both the 360 and One, with titles such as Ryse: Son of Rome and Killer Instinct at their Xbox booth, reported GameSpot.com.

Xbox panels will include a presentation on the future of the company and a panel about hit series Halo called "Inside The Looking Glass: Building 'Halo' Worlds and Wonders."

The two companies will be looking to take some sort of advantage at Comic Con with Xbox no doubt looking to clean up their poor showing at E3.

The battle between the PS4 and Xbox One just got a bit more interesting because of China preparing to lift the console sale ban, meaning over a billion people are now free to purchase the new systems.

For the last 13 years, China has had a ban on video games but according to the South China Morning Post, it will be lifted soon.

Games still made their way across the country via small stores and such, but there was no major distribution or marketing of the consoles throughout the country, according to the report. The potential for the franchise to now reach hundreds of millions of former and first-time users who will be eager to purchase what was once banned is huge.

This news goes well with a recent tweet posted by Sony showing a picture of an eclipse with the caption reading, "When Worlds Collide," possibly hinting that the battle for gaming superiority truly just went global. It also perhaps suggests a Nov. 3 release date, which is a day a total solar eclipse is likely.
