Danielle Fishel, 'Girl Meets World' Star, to Write Memoir of Life and Embarrassments

Actress Danielle Fishel recently announced that she is writing her memoir, which will be released in the fall of 2014. Fishel is best known for her role on "Boy Meets World" and will star on the spin-off series, "Girl Meets World," scheduled to air next year.

"I'm so excited to finally share this with you!" Fishel tweeted to fans.

"Life is an incredible, and often embarrassing journey, and I can't wait to share my experiences. Get ready to laugh with me (or at me – that's okay, too!)," she said in a statement released by Gallery Books. The publishing company added that the book will be about Fishel's life, including "disastrous auditions, wedding planning mishaps and awkward red-carpet moments."

Fishel is already hard at work on "Girl Meets World," which has fans of the original series excited and ready to revisit the characters of Topanga Lawrence (Fishel) and her on-screen husband Cory Matthews (Ben Savage). The two decided to reunite for the series and have already begun working with their new on-screen family, which includes a daughter and son.

"First of all, let me say that you, the fans of 'Boy Meets World,' have been awesome," Fishel wrote in a letter to fans after the new series was announced. "That word is often used incorrectly by people, including myself, on a daily basis, but you have truly been awe inspiring. You, yes, even you, are the reason that 'Girl Meets World' will be made."

In real life, Fishel, 32, is engaged to Tim Belusko, whom she met at college not long ago.

"I'm thrilled to publish someone as charmingly funny as Danielle Fishel," Jennifer Bergstrom, Vice President and Publisher of Gallery Books said in the initial announcement. "She has already achieved a cult following, and I'm sure her book will bring her even more fans."

The book, titled "Normally, This Would be Cause for Concern: Tales of Calamity and Unrelenting Awkwardness" will hit stores next year.
