DWTS All Star Cast: Pamela Anderson, Bristol Palin Announced

Pamela Anderson has been named in the All Star cast for Dancing With the Stars. The hit show unveiled the cast list on Friday, bringing together a list of some of the most famous names from the show's 14 seasons.

The list includes Pamela Anderson, Kelly Monaco, Emmitt Smith, Melissa Rycroft, Joey Fatone, Helio Castroneves, Drew Lachey, Bristol Palin, Kirstie Alley, Apolo Anton Ohno, Shawn Johnson and Gilles Marini.

The cast list is sure to excite fans who have followed the show over its seven years, and this time for the first time viewers will be given the chance to select their 13th cast member.

Up for public election are Kyle Massey, Carson Kressley or Sabrina Bryan. They will apparently being campaigns to win votes, with fans being given a four week window to cast their vote on ABC.com.

The new season for DWTS all stars will begin on Sept. 24.

The season will be produced by Conrad Green, who has said that the cast list "represents many different seasons," and should allow the show to "get back some of the best personalities" seen over the 14 seasons.

"We want the whole season to be a celebration of the people who have taken part," he has said.

It is expected that the standard will be very high, and judges are allegedly being "re-calibrated" so that all the scores do not just end up being 9's and 10's.

Palin has said, "The the press is going to talk about me no matter what, so I might as well have fun."

Host Tom Bergeron has said, "I had to be a bit more tentative with the stars; they were nervous, learning it, finding their way. But all these guys have done it, so I don't have to be as nice."
