Fran Drescher has told the Huffington Post that she and her ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson were abducted by aliens and that they both have similar scars where the aliens implanted chips into their bodies.

"You know, it's funny because Peter and I both saw [aliens] before we knew each other, doing the same thing, driving on the road with our dads," Drescher reportedly to The huffington Post. "We were both in junior high. A few years later, we met, and we realized that we had the same experience. I think that somehow we were programmed to meet. We both have this scar. It's the exact same scar on the exact same spot."

Jacobson, however, isn't entirely convinced of the whole affair, and he has in fact instead stated that his ex-wife got the small scar on her hand from a drill bit or by burning herself with a hot cup of water.

Regardless of her husband's denials, Drescher, 53, refuses to back down with her extraterrestrial story. "I said to him, that's what the aliens programmed us to think," she said. "But really, that's where the chip is."

Drescher is known as the star of TV Land series "Happily Divorced," which was renewed for a second season in July. The show has averaged over 2.2 million total viewers, according to OnTheRedCarpet.com.

Drescher was married to Jacobson for 21 years but they divorced in 1999.
