Hayley and Mike Jones have adopted eight children from Sierra Leone and are giving thanks to God for their large family and the blessings the children bring them. The Christian couple decided to adopt after Hayley had to have two emergency C-sections with her own biological children.

"It's been something that we've been hoping and praying for and waiting on, so it's just finally come to fruition and it's just great to have everybody here," Mike told WKRN News.

The larger family lives in Thompson's Station, Tennessee after making the trek to Sierra Leone to pick up the eight children from The Raining Season orphanage, a Christian-run facility that can house up to 120 children. They had no intention of adopting so many children at one time but felt it was God's will.

"We thought it was about two or three children we'd be adopting when we initially met the orphanage," Mike told Daily Mail. "But God was telling us both separately to keep going for more and more – it was just brought up that there was a sibling group of six and eight. When Hayley went over there and was able to spend time with them, she just knew straight away they were our kids."

The family then went to work preparing to bring their eight children, who range in age from 5 to 16, home to Tennessee. The children all have Biblical names: Michael, Samuel, Levi, Malachi, Isaiah, Judah, Zion, and Gabrielle. Their birth father was killed in a boating accident, and their birth mother believed they would have a better life in the U.S.

"Now we feel complete," Mike told Daily Mail. "They're all so special, you can't love each one of them enough – they bright us a lot of joy."

"To have them here, it's crazy, busy and hectic and there is always something to do, but I am truly, truly joyful," Hayley added.
