Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed Wedding News: Engaged Couple Never Argue

Newly engaged couple Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed were at the Noble Awards in L.A. on Friday, Feb. 27 where they both picked up awards for their charity work. The two appeared to be more in love than ever as they held hands and posed for the cameras, and the couple has revealed that they get along so well that the only thing they argue about is the color of Somerhalder's eyes.

"He thinks his eyes are ocean blue and I think they're aqua," said the "Twilight" actress to a group of reporters while standing next to her fiancé at the red carpet.

When initially asked about what they fight about, the pair replied in unison, "I don't think anything,"

"Nothing really!" Somerhalder said.

They also said that they get along so well because they both take interest in numerous causes and that they are equally passionate about them.

Somerhalder and Reed often connect with their fans about issues they feel deeply about via Twitter and Instagram. The couple in particular discuss pet adoption and are now parents to several horses, dogs, and cats since they started dating back in July.

"Most of our conversations revolve around [what we can do better] because whether or not we have similar passions, I think it all stems around the idea that everything is connected," said Reed. "What's nurtured this friendship that we've had is that we are passionate about similar things, whether it's animals or the environment or education or climate change. So we do wake up in the morning and talk about those things," she added.

As for her engagement ring, the actress said, "Can't tell you anything about it other than I love it more than anything in the world!"
