K-LOVE Music City Christmas Featuring TobyMac, Kari Jobe, Newsboys and More Premieres Dec. 8 on Up

K_Love and Up Network partner for "K-LOVE Music City Christmas."

Christian television station UP and national popular Christian radio powerhouse K-LOVE will be putting together a Christmas Special called, "K-LOVE Music City Christmas," which will premiere on Monday, Dec. 8.

The show will be hosted by actress/author Candace Cameron Bure ("Full House"). The program will run an hour long and will include performances of both classic Christmas song and original songs by some of Christian music's biggest stars. Performers include: TobyMac, Newsboys with for King & Country, Mandisa, Colton Dixon, Kari Jobe, Matthew West, Brandon Heath, Crowder, Big Daddy Weave, and Tenth Avenue North.

"K-LOVE Music City Christmas" was already taped in Nashville, Tenn. and will premiere exclusively on UP. It will also be broadcasted to K-LOVE listeners in December.

"We are excited that the very first "K-LOVE Music City Christmas" special will premiere on UP," said David Pierce, K-LOVE and Air1's Chief Creative Officer in a press release. "The network is the ideal partner to present this beautiful Christmas special that is filled with spirited musical performances and meaning."

Some of the songs that will performed are: "O Holy Night" (Kari Jobe), "We Three Kings" (Tenth Avenue North) and "Go Tell It On The Mountain" (Crowder) with a duet performance of "Jingle Bell Rock" (Newsboys with for KING & COUNTRY). Fans will also hear original songs from TobyMac ("Christmas This Year"), Brandon Heath ("Just A Girl"), "The Heart of Christmas" from Matthew West and more.

K-LOVE reaches over 14 million listeners weekly as they have establishments in major cities such as New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Denver and others, as well as 446 signals in 47 states.

Up was formerly the Gospel Music Channel. Now the station focuses primarily on whole family entertainment.
