Khloe Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom are reportedly heading for a divorce just two and a half years after their fairytale wedding, and new reports suggest that their recent move to Dallas has been detrimental to their marriage.
"Khloe put on a brave face and prayed that a new beginning in Dallas would be good for their marriage. Sadly things have only gotten worse. Lamar is super depressed and Khloe is really having trouble handling his emotional issues," a source told Star Magazine.
Odom has reportedly been unhappy ever since being traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks on December 11, and in conjunction with Khloe's ongoing struggles to conceive, the couple is said to be stressed and at a "point of no return" in their marriage.
"Lamar is getting tired of her obsessing over [having a baby]. They're only intimate now when they schedule sex," the source revealed.
Initial claims about troubles in the couple's marriage began in January when it was reported that Khloe, 27, was furious after reports surfaced that Odom had engaged in a sleazy night out at a Washington D.C. strip club.
"Khloe viewed his actions as cheating. She felt violated," the source explained.
The 32-year-old power forward has posted some of his lowest NBA stats since joining the Mavericks, which has recently begun adding pressure on his marriage to Khloe.
"Khloé has really tried to help while [Lamar] has been depressed. It's been quite the uphill battle. They still have a tight bond ...[it] isn't affecting the marriage yet," a source had previously told Hollywood Life.
Fans of the "Khloe & Lamar" reality TV stars immediately took to social networking site Twitter, to weigh in on the divorce rumors.
