There's sad news for Mass Effect fans: Casey Hudson left Bioware and the launching date for the fourth installment has been delayed, according to reports.

The game studio posted on their website an official announcement regarding the executive producer's leave.

"After nearly 16 years of game development at BioWare, Executive Producer Casey Hudson has made the decision to move on from BioWare and enter a new stage of his career. We thank Casey for his hard work and dedication as we look back on his time with BioWare," the statement said.

Casey Hudson's notable work for Bioware was his involvement in the success of the Mass Effect trilogy as a development team leader.

Hudson wrote a statement as well.

"After what already feels like a lifetime of extraordinary experiences, I have decided to hit the reset button and move on from BioWare. I'll take a much needed break, get perspective on what I really want to do with the next phase of my life, and eventually, take on a new set of challenges,"

Bioware is currently concentrating their efforts and resources to develop another game, Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Fuse Joplin reported.

According to the site, former manager of Bioware community, Chris Priestley took to their official page forum to announce that the studio is at the moment focusing in developing DA:I as its release date is already set on October. After which, the studio will then begin their works for Mass Effect 4.

This turn out of events suggests that 2015 is the year that Bioware will get their hands on the ME4 project and that 2016 will likely be its launching date.
